Ralphy Falcon
This is very sad. I recieved an email yesterday from the entertainment site Perrealo.com only to read about the death of one of my first friends in entertainment. Ralphy Falcon. I’m speachless after reading about the incident that lead to his death.
On Oct. 16, Cadena and Falcon apparently got into an argument – possibly over a woman – inside the Rio Grande nightclub at 194 Union Blvd., Lt. Anthony Traina said.
Cadena punched Falcon one time, according to police.
Falcon collapsed and never got up, and two days later lapsed into a coma for more than a week. He died Tuesday, leaving behind a 4-year-old son. He was 27. [con't reading...]
We worked together at The Rotunda Restaurant inside Nieman Marcus at the GSP where he was a waiter and I was a host. He was extremely witty and loved women. It makes me chuckle because he used to go out the night before and show up with pictures of his “parrandera” with women… One day he showed up calling himself DJ ELASTIGO!
Ralphy and Ray, one of his long time friends and a bus boy at the restaurant, would more then often come into work the next morning with bruises from the night before so we tagged them Batman and Robin. Go figure…
Ralph was the one that got me to buy my endless cd collection. He would often give me his promotional CD’s and he would occasionally ask me to DJ at the begining of night at the local clubs or accompany him to wedding and birthday parties.
In October of 1999 I quit my job at Nieman Marcus and persued my career. I would often see him at his parties after he would harrass me about not going to them. We would greet each other like brothers with a big hug and a smile on our face. All I can say now is rest in peace Ralphy.
