The Break Up
Señores y Señoritas… if you want to see why our society has such a high rate of divorce, go see The Break Up… If you want to know why our society no longer has the Old School Type of relationships where they were married for years and years on out, go see The Break Up… Again… si en verdad quieren saber porque nuestra sociedad tiene un promedio tan alto de divorcio, vayan a ver The Break Up… Si en verdad quieren saber porque nuestra sociedad ya no tiene la classe de relaciones que nuestros padres mantenian, vayan a ver The Break Up…
The Break Up is the pinacle of all reasons for breakups… The movie’s ending sucked big time but the truth of the matter is that that’s the way things really end up in the real world. From the begining to end (minus the last 15minutes) was funny. Vince Vaughn was handed his heart on a silver platter in the last 15 minutes of the movie. Well it was probably more like the entire length of the movie from a guys point of view and more like he had it coming to him from a womans point of view…
What woman is going to use tactics to make her man feel jealous to the point where he backs down and realizes his mistakes, tries to correct them, and is then rejected!?! That pissed me off. Jennifer played a role where she took everything to the next level… Vince simply followed her actions by doing what a man with nothing to loose would do… In the end they had nothing to gain and nothing to loose because they had already lost everything the had to gain…
But then again… when you love someone you forgive everything don’t you? Not in the real world. Especially in the real world of NYC or any city where temptation and bad advice surrounds you…
And to conclude this post I’ll add Rule no. 4…
Talk and be open… Don’t wait till the last minute to express yourself
Thanks for the review Edwin, Carlos and I were going to watch this movie last sunday, we actually went to the mall to catch a movie but we were a bit indecisive and tired at the same time so we ended up skipping it. Now we know that “The Breakup” is worth watching , ya tu sabes para el cine este fin de semana..jajajaja.
Cheers
it’s a crazy world.
Well, I guess this has just become a priority for me. IU have to see this movie. The differences between men and women has been a topic of headaches for me. The lack of communication has been the reason for stress, lack of stability, symptoms of ADHD, Stress, Stress, and more stress, and finally, I think I have become a hypochondriac. Yes, we women have a need to communicate. Why is it so hard for men? If you love somebody, would you not be willing to try what you can to compromise and just try? I have yet to see the movie… But it has become a priority… And I anticipate a topic in the works for some direct questioning and interaction between the sexes to better understand each other. I love this topic…. It hits so close to home! Thanx for your review Edwin!!
Thaliz – You’ll enjoy every minute of the movie. It is really cool to see a realistic type of movie instead of the common, predictable ending you would normally see…
Hetayra – I think us men pay less and less atention to you women… in hopes that you’ll either forget what has happened and simply move on with out discussing it… To actually talk about it is like a Taboo subject and that would imply that we have to put thought, consideration, good judgement, and time into an already compromising sittuation…
Yes! Now the problem is that the same issue and situation continues to surface, and the same attitude and reaction continues like nothing is wrong with it. If something is mentioned because it maybe bother your significant other. You can maybe compromise or try to work things out. The better you understand your partner, the better you can get along.
Man! I gotta see this movie.
Men and women speak a different language. This makes it so hard for us to understand each other.
A middle ground can always work. Willingness to compromise is important from both parties. If you are both interested in salvaging a relationship the burden should not fall on only the shoulders of one side but evenly on both. That is one issue I have a problem with, because our latin mothers tend to raise men to feel they should be worshipped and honored despite wether they bring anyhting to the relationship. Times have changed.
no lo lei entero pk me motivaste a ver la peli… luego te cuento
So all the rules of relationships are mentioned throughout the movie?
