Don’t Touch
My Button

Besides that, I have the hugest headache right now. I slept all day yesterday and all of last night… All thanks to my 12000 BTU Air Conditioner that blows directly at my bed. I don’t know what to do, I may put it back in the living room since it cools down the whole apt anyway. At about 4′o’clock this morning i woke up and i couldn’t even turn my eyes from the pain… Now I feel a little better but I can’t even walk from the dizzyness…

My scrapes are healing nicely. I didn’t think that having them covered all the time would be better then leaving them exposed all the time. A few days ago you could see the veins through the clear layer of skin that was growing back. Now everything is semi-white since it has grown a scab… I should’ve taken a picture when you could see the tiny veins growing back… that would have discussed a few people.

And refering to Alfonso’s last comment…

te van a partir..ponte a comer primero….

I weigh in at 147 but I don’t think that anyone takes notice of how much I weight since I don’t look like I weigh 147…

Every chance I get I’m eating something… especially if there’s spanish food around… But I’m willing to try anything right about now… I am told by everyone that I will eventually gain weight but I want to gain the weight right now… Bueno… una jiringuilla no esta de mas… As long as I gain weight!

Alright… thats enough… time for some remedies and recepies people!!!

Cause: Hit By Car

Hmmm… coming to think about it… anything that I publish can be taken out of text and anyone who reads my blog on a phsycological level trying to analize the things I publish can say I’m insane…

We publish things that we want to share… not to portray a certain personality or behavior…

Oh well… It’s just a blog…

Bueno… I doubt it’ll be the last time I go up to Rhode Island… but there are some things that make you want revenge or desire something bad to happen in return for your pain and suffering…

My best friends brother was having a birthday party for his 1 year old and I haven’t been up to Providence to visit my family in a while. On the way up there is no way I can prevent myself from speeding. It’s a two and a half hour trip and a long one at that. To make a long story short… a 540i topped his speed at 125mph and I kept going… When we arrived to the party everyone seemed to be enjoying the company of a clown. A Dominican Clown at that… hehe…

Dominican humor is one of a kind. Everywhere you go there is a clown in the group. You’ll always have someone cracking jokes. I try to crack jokes but I’m not too funny… my jokes are rather dry but to the point…

So here is the behind the scenes story… My best friend gave his sister in law a ride to the gas station one day. When he returned to her house, her boyfriend was waiting for her. Un-beknown to my best friend her boyfriend suspected that she was cheating on him. So one thing led to the other and he said that the next time he saw my best friend he would f*ck him up.

Llegamos a la fiesta… everyone is enjoying the bad DJ music which is being played from his laptop… But the bass was pretty good… a little distorted as ussual because most house parties need to have loud music… All of a sudden, a fight breaks out.

My best friend tried to explain what had happened…

He was at the food table and I said that I hope there is no conflict between us. He then said that he didn’t care who I was with, if my family was around or what I would say. He proceeded to put his cup down at which point I punched him in the face and continued to hit him.

While trying to calm everyone down and seperate the two… ahi viene la cuña and BANG! una galleta! Dominican woman are vicious! So everyone started to leave and go home… we did just that. We got to his mom in law’s house. The women decided to go inside and we decided to go for a walk around the block. Just the two of us… then two cars roll by… His brothers in one and the guy he just got into the fight with… I don’t know who was in the car with the guy but we told my friends brothers that everything was ok and they went around the block to park the car…

What a mistake… the guy saw us and proceeded to drive his car right into us. My friend got out the way, I was dead center with the hood of the car and quickly jumped on top of the car. He sped away and I rolled over the top of the car ending up on the other side of the street.

The chase was on. I ran back to my car. Got my car picked up my best friend and his brothers which were still stunned by what had just happened. We went down the wrong way on a one way street the guy took off in and then turned the corner. I saw him. He was two blocks ahead driving back to his mother in law’s house. I sped up, made a right on the block before, a left to beat him to the next stop sign and bada bing bada boom… I cut him off… He had two cars behind him and I had him trapped!

But then again… everyone backed up and he sped away again!

It was a dangerous sittuation as it was already but when your boy gets into a fight, you get run over, and then you have the opportunity to get payback… I can’t let the opportunity go but to chase the guy down…

We drove around for an hour looking for him… but no luck… He had taken off and by the time we fit everyone into my clown car he was out of site.

We stopped in front of Mango’s on Broad Street… this place will have a fight break out before you even get in… ahi si que hay tiguere. My friend knows just about everyone there… so we told a few of them who we were looking for… they said they would handle him if they saw him…

We also spoke to one of the cops… The cops are a joke up there… We explained to him what had happened and from what I understood he said….

Don’t worry. Your Clear.

In other words… go ahead… find the guy and do what you have to do… you won’t get arrested. Nice huh… so we went back to the girls house where we waited and waited… She never came home and her aunt and cousin were the ones that took care of my wounds…

I must say that me and the hood of cars are getting more and more familiar. I need to go to the Taekwondo school around the corner to learn how to avoid them more often.

Update: A police report has been filed against the guy who drove his car into us… According to the police, he can only be charged with assult with a deadly weapon… to which he’ll plead no contest and do 1-2 years of probation… go figure…

Jesu’Santisimo!

It was a pain in the ass trying to figure out why it wasn’t working, what happened how to fix it. For starters the nameservers were not setup right. That was my mistake… I simply forgot to add the IP Address in order for the site to propogate as it should. Then the A-Records for the new Semi-Dedicated server needed to be fixed. This was all on the hosting company which I am reluctant to even mention on this site anymore.

We were passing the url to be updated by using the isset parameter. Unfortunately the server isn’t identyfying the string that is in the header and was never updating the database.

Here is a snippet of the code…

if (isset($url)){
$mystr =”< ?xml ['titulo'] . ['url'] .>“;
$sp=fsockopen($host,$port,$errno,$errstr,30);
if (!$sp) {
die(“Could not contact $host:$port – $errstr\n”);
return false;
}
fputs($sp,”POST http://www.blogsdominicanos.com/ping/

Since the code was not working and the help from the hosting company has been undeniably poor, I went ahead and reprogrammed the way in which the site updates the time stamp from the homepage. Instead of passing the Title & URL of the blog in the header, I created a form which uses php to update the MySQL database.

I have yet to program the time period in which you are able to re-ping the site… Perhaps next week…

Other then that… I hope everything else works on the site… If it doesn’t… I’m sure someone will email or leave a comment. telling me so… Meanwhile… I think it’s safe to say that the site is back up!

Perdon

Bueno… For starters I appologize for the inconvinience of not being able to update your blog on Blogs Dominicanos as you normally would… I honestly haven’t had the chance to properly update the nameserver or the new IP address. Host Gator hasn’t been very helpful either.

First they suspended the account.

Then they redirected the site.

Then the site was up but some of the files needed to be updated.

And since then, I’ve continued to redirect the site with the new IP Address and nameserver with no success. By the end of the week the site will be fully functional. All I ask is for some patience.

Thanks for your support, emails, and comments. Those of you who would like to contribute to the maintainance of the site and the monthly hosting costs… I’ll post more info regarding that later on in the week.

I’ve recieved soo many emails and I haven’t taken out the time to respond to all of them. Once the site is back up and running I will try to respond to all of them. Again… THANKS!
