It sucks but I simply don’t have much time to dedicate to the site… But here is a wish list…
- Return emails to potential colaborators
- Create a new design for next year
- Write another article about the Dominican Blogosphere to be published in the Dominican News Paper “El Nacional” for Jose Rafael Sosa.
That last one I don’t know how I’m going to accomplish if I hardly spend any time surfing the blogs… but maybe you can… The few visitors I get have an open forum to share the good, the bad, and the future of the Dominican Blogoshere with me… I will see that your message, ideas, and hopes are conveyed and shared amoungst other bloggers.

With all respect to those who lost loved ones on Sept 11th 2001… I keep an open mind as I read into the history of the events, view documentaries, and follow the events which led to the day.
Loose Change – This was yet another documentary that simply brought tears to my eyes just because it brought light to the many lives were lost. Although the majority of the American public is content with the explanation surrounding the events that occured on September 11th, I believe that there are just as many who are open to believe other theories and at best, question the one theory which the American Government has put out there.
I’m not saying that the documentary convinces me, but it has pointed out minor details that have been overlooked, some that have become clearer, a timeline that has once again refreshed my memory of the events which occured that day and perhaps new information that may someday be of value.
My patriotism for America is just as deep as it is for Dominican Republic. Afterall; I speak fluent Inglish, I eat baked patatoes and watermelon, and I believe in the opportunities of which it has to offer… Perhaps not everyone thinks like that…

Que chulo esta el diseño!? Se ñama “Vistered Little“… Si todavia no han cambiado sus blog por uno de Word Press, que estan esperando?
Vistered Little gave me a few problems on the installation… for starters I had to insert
< ?php
include 'functions.php';
?>
into the header file and initialize the pickaskin function. Once the theme loaded I erased the include and it’s been working fine… I also had a problem with the themetoolkit file. I simply disabled this line and I haven’t had any problems since…
//add_theme_page(‘Configure ‘ . $this->infos['theme_name'], $this->infos['theme_name'], ‘edit_themes’, basename($this->file), array(&$this,’admin_menu’));
If I run into any other problems I’ll post it…

I don’t get that name but whatever… I’ll go along with it… it sounds more like a name that was just made up by the Spaniard… just like BITACORAS… Another name that I can’t fit into my vocabulary… seriously… I’ll continue to call it a Blog in English and Spanish because I simply don’t know why I would call it anything else.
This always gets me into a debate with myself… why would I use spanish terms when it sounds sooooo much better in English???? There are just way too many words that have been made up to form part of the spanish speaking ideology in the “blogosphere” particularly by the Mexican and Spanish. I just think it’s a bit over rated and ofcourse… they are definately trying to capitalize on something that has evolved over the last few years in latin countries.
Menawhile I will be polishing up the Beetle and getting it ready for some Fall action. I think I’m going to give the Beemer a break for a few days and ride the Bettle around since it’s no loner 100 degrees and 100% humid out there… That’ll be interesting… the Beetle gets more attention then the Beemer…. go figure… well then again that depends on who’s in the passenger seat…
Blah blah blah blah blah… yo b yo b yo b…. Brother!!

Cuando comiensa a llover, no para de llover. I haven’t the slighest idea of what’s going on in the world. I’ve got no TV and if I listen to the radio it’s for simple pleasure only. The world in the eyes of people whole don’t focus on current events is kind of… peaceful?
Today I have been cleaning up and making my rounds visiting family and making phone calls. For my place I got a beautiful coffee table along with two end tables for my living room so I had to shine the floor so they could stand out. I was told they had a marble inlay and didn’t hessitate in buying them. They are certainly priceless. My parent’s have another buyer for the house. This time I don’t think anyone can retreat from the negotiations. Last time they had a buyer, they had no down payment and the buyer was denied credit from the bank. That kind of sucked because they had already sent thier furniture to the house in DR…
Here is my monthly update on work… hehe… I haven’t had much time for anything. Last month I was promoted at work and since then, I’ve been working non-stop. They even gave me a phone so I can be in touch 24/7… This weekend I decided to take Sunday off and we already had Monday off so it’s a two day weekend for me. It’s incredible. I was working every other week for almost a year and now I’m working just about every day. Needless to say I’ve got a plan… It certainly isn’t perfect but it’s a plan. I’ll find out by the end of the year if I accomplished it.
Aside from all that working, I managed to slip in a trip to Florida last month. I was there for 4 days which turned out to be the quietest four days of my life and without transportation! You know I was bored. That was just after the incident with the terrorists and prohibiting passengers to carry on any type of liquids onto the plane… go figure… I got on with Blistex Lip Balm… no one said anything… Airport Security is a joke…
And yes… congrats to Bracuta and Remo for thier accomplishments and articles that have been published over the last few days… It feels good to know that my fellow bloggers are keeping the buzz going within the Dominican culture.
On a sad note, one of the companies production workers was killed this past week. Samuel Salas was one of the quietest guys out on the floor. A hard worker to say the least. When I found out on Thursday about his death I couldn’t believe it. Just the day before I was talking to the guy and even that was a huge surprise to me because he would never say anything else other then “Hi”. May he rest in peace. Here is a link to an article from The Star Ledger.
