Because it brings to light areas that need improvement. Of course, it all depends on the mentality of the one critisizing, and the person critiqued. I always "try" to accept critisism and fight and win my battle against my insecurities that tend to be fed by critisism. Its something we all deal with. BUT!!! Hay personas que les gusta criticar para derrumbar algo creado por otro, tomando ventaja de la fragilidad del autoestima en la presencia de la crítica. In some form, critisism is sometimes good.
