humm-augh-duh humm-augh-duh humm-augh-duh

I dislike repeating ideas that have already been implemented. But then again there are many different brands for the same product.

Ocala Florida

It’s not hard to imagine going 120 mph when you’ve driven 150 mph before. This however isn’t something that is always taken into account. El M5 quedo debaratado.

Juggling Time and Projects

Up until yesterday, I hadn’t taken a day off since January 6th. Granted I’ve taken time off to visit family and hang out on different occasions but not a complete “day off”. Super Bowl Sunday was a good day. But of course I worked that day. Am I a workaholics? Perhaps… but it’s like they say…

if you love your job, it’s not work.

After reading Joan’s post ¡Epa! En Dominicana los periodistas tienen blogs and taking into account the amount of time/effort Joan Guerrero, Alexéi Tellerías, Anabelle Pérez, and Jose Rafael Sosa have put into their project, I didn’t want to be left out.

With that in mind, I found some time to program another site and add another project to my ongoing list of projects… Even though Joan hasn’t granted me permission just quite yet with the logo… (hopefully he will) « done deal! I introduce the start of Periodistas con un blog.

A buena hora como dicen.

Google Reader and LARGE OPML Files…

Google Reader can’t handle large amounts of RSS Feeds. I tried uploading an OPML file for all of the RSS feeds on the directory in order to eliminate Manual Pings. Unfortunately I don’t think we can go that route just yet. My account slowed down tremendously after I uploaded the OPML file with 2500 RSS Feeds of which Google Reader only recognized 1800. Moving onto the next idea.

Fort Lee Covered in White

Finally a day where you either call out of work and stay home in bed or you head out and hope not to slide into another car. I opted for the stay in bed option.

Vamonos Pa’la Playa – A beber cerveza…

It’s cold out there!

I’ve finalized the transfer of the site… thank god that’s done and over with. One less headache for me. There’s also been a continuous amount of bloggers wanting to publish in the ad-boxes which is great. However I haven’t been able to keep up with selecting blog of the week. It’s not as easy as it looks. Actually it is, but I’m ridiculed either way by my selections… your a rough crowd to please.

Other then that, we’ve also received political ad offers which I haven’t posted… I’m following Remo’s actions on banning the politics on the site. Tricom has also followed through with it’s interesting calling service. I purchased a number a few weeks ago and receive calls from DR. It works out very well plus they save money.

Tax season is here. If you haven’t received your tax returns yet, your not one of the many that have already paid off debts or one of the many that have already spent it on big purchases… unfortunately I already spent mine on bills.

That marriage thing in Dominican Republic looks a bit complicated. Getting married to a Dominican woman that was raised and lives in Dominican Republic is a bit complicated… Well not complicated per say, but it’s a complicated decision. I guess it all depends on the individual taking the journey. Not that anyone around my neck of the woods is getting married anytime soon.

Thats it for now.
